Stitching Sabbatical May Be The Best Thing on Etsy
Today I am thrilled to be featuring an Etsy shop called Stitching Sabbatical.
At Stitching Sabbatical all of your custom pet portrait/embroidery dreams can come finally come true. They do a variety of custom embroidery hoop art and the custom animal portraits are simply adorable.
Take a look at some of these custom pieces by designer and shop owner Michelle Staub. I'm impressed with how detailed her work is. I think that in the very near future I will be ordering one (or two) of the custom pet portraits for my own home.
The store also does a lovely job with different quotes and custom name art.
One of my favorite things about Stitching Sabbatical is that it functions as a family business with each of Michelle's three cats Purrl, Háma and Tibbers contributing to the team.
According to the shop's "About" page Purrl is responsible for the finances while Háma takes care of security and IT. Tibbers is currently working as an unpaid intern. I imagine that this will look good on a future kitty resume.
If only my Gibby had goals beyond snacking and napping.

Introducing Griffin von Porkchop. Part 1 of 2.
This is Griffin von Porkchop.
He is a cat with a snaggle tooth smile who is on his way to becoming a seriously famous internet feline. He is just 5 years but ready to take over the social media world.
When I look through Griffin's Instagram feed all I can think
of Shakespeare's classic line from Twelfth's Night.

In the U.S. Grumpy Cat is a National Treasure.
Canada has their own Griffin von Porkchop to be proud of.
I plan on featuring Griffin with a regular blog post later this week.

with fun cat items in honor of Griffin and his future success.
